Scarlet (subsidiary of Proximus) chose Be Connect to develop an activation across social networks to raise awareness around the brand by capitalizing on its sponsoring of the famous TV show “The Voice”.

Goals
  • Increase awareness around Scarlet’s data offer.
  • Generate engagement thanks to the notoriety of the TV show.
  • Drive traffic to the dedicated activation website to increase participations to the contest.

Solution
  • Activate the community by creating a dedicated website to support the contest.
  • Participants had to take a selfie with a sign encouraging their favourite contestant in order to win enticing incentives such as tickets to go to the next prime.
  • The contest was supported by a dedicated hashtag on Twitter.
  • At the same time, a photographer was present in the TV studio to take pictures of the fans. Those pictures were than posted on the contest website, as well as amplified through social networks to generate more traffic on the activation website.
